Nova is from the Celestial Litter (Gillyweed x Luna Love - DOB 4/30/25) which is the first litter I co-bred with Gillyweed as the sire. Originally, I was not planning on keeping back a puppy due to the timing of the litter. But this little girl is an incredibly fun, high drive, merle copy of her dad and I just couldn't resist taking her home to play!
Nova is beautiful, outgoing, confident, and friendly. She settles wonderfully through the day and night, and is highly trainable, fun loving, and seeks engagement / connection. This girl has exactly every single trait I was hoping for in a Gillyweed puppy. She has all the qualities listed above, plus exactly the same drive that made me fall in love with her daddy. So long as you are playing with her, she is enthusiastically game for anything! Basically pick a sport, because so far she is game. She is going to be one heck of a fun sports partner!
Nova is currently available to the right person who can offer her a competitive sport / performance home. In the meantime, she is staying with me to continue training for her career in sports. "Currently" being the key word. I would also be more than happy to offer a co-ownership of this perfect little spicy nugget, if anyone is interested in a more collaborative arrangement. Sports / Training:
Updated 07/19/25 - Currently at just over 11 weeks old, Nova has started her foundation training in basic obedience / tricks, and is learning to love playing games while laying a foundation for sports.
- Loves learning new things! Has started on basic foundation tricks and ques (sit, down, wait, and paw). Loves interacting and playing games for praise.
- This little girl absolutely loves chasing lures and will certainly excel in FastCat once old enough.
- Loves chasing her frisbee rollers! Learning to retrieve.
- Enjoys playing in water and with the hose. Working on swimming off the ramp in a life vest and retrieving her wubba toy.
- Had a blast during her introduction to herding stock/sheep (brave and keen, but not bull headed or aggressive).
- Easy travel companion / settles well in the car while relaxing in her crate
- Loves chasing balls and toys. But her favorite game is tug!
