Tinker Bell is the result of many years planning, searching, and waiting for the perfect working line pup to add to our family. A huge part of my goals as a breeder includes maintaining the drive and work ethic in our MAS / Mini Aussies that made the working line Aussies so famous. There are some really spectacular bloodlines that have already been brought into minis that maintains this standard. But unfortunately, there are not that many left who are not fairly closely related or heavily line bred due to the limited availability of those dog in the mini gene pool. In order to ensure our programs genetics are not being bottlenecked, it has long been my goal to bring in a pure, working line, Australian Shepherd female to our program so we can ensure those treasured lines, with superior drive and instinct, remain close up in our dogs genetics without heavily inbreeding to maintain it. This will take some of the pressure off future pairings as well, since bringing in a fresh line means we can revisit some of the tried and true, more common working line minis that are already available. After carefully selecting a breeder who has true working dogs, and whose lines combine several old school HOF Aussie kennels, providing proven drive with working instinct, I am very grateful for the opportunity to welcome this little girl into our family from the Boyd Ranch program in Texas. Her pedigree is filled from top to bottom with gritty, real life working dogs, with multiple generations of HOF and WTCH titles. I'm so excited for this girl to come home and start her sports career, but in the meantime, we have lots of fun puppy adventures and growing up to do!
